Data protection information and how we handle your personal data.
Smooth Flow Tech e.U., Horn, Austria (Email: office@smoothflowtech.com) is the data controller for the purposes of data protection law.
To detect invalid clicks on our Google Ads and other abuse of our website, we record for every page visit your IP address and the pages you view with the time of each visit. If you arrived through an ad, we also record your browser's user-agent string and the Google Ads click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid). We also note whether the IP address belongs to a hosting provider and whether your browser reports itself as automated.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our advertising budget and our website from fraud and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This processing uses no cookies and does not depend on your cookie choice.
Retention: IP addresses and user-agent strings are deleted automatically after 60 days. The remaining visit records are kept under a pseudonymous daily identifier and deleted after 180 days.
The data is stored on the servers of our hosting provider, who processes it on our behalf, and is not otherwise shared with third parties. IP addresses we identify as abusive may be entered in Google Ads as excluded IP addresses; only that address is then shared with Google. You can object to this processing at any time at office@smoothflowtech.com.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
